Mamas of Color Rising is headed to the Allied Media Conference!

From July 16-19, 2009 members of Mamas of Color Rising and La Semilla Child Care Collective will attend the 11th Annual Allied Media Conference in Detroit, MI.  At the conference we are hoping to gain valuable media skills to help us create our documentary on mamas of color birthing and welfare stories.  To raise money for this trip we made and delivered fresh, delicious, hot, homemade empanadas to the Austin community.
